BURNS ARE FATAL

Burns suffered by Opal Mae Riley, 8, resulted in her death Saturday morning in Mercy Hospital. The girl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Riley, Route 1, St. Paul, was burned Friday morning when her clothing caught on fire from an open stove in the home. She was brought to Mercy Hospital.

The funeral was held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Valley church and burial in the Valley Cemetery.
